In addition to the procedure, process administration is necessary for correct CMR registration. The process records the substances used during a procedure. The process administration keeps track of how often a process step is completed by which people in a given year. Based on these data, the "Process exposure overview" can provide an overview of CMR substance exposure per individual and over the period.
The process planning is determined on an annual basis. Using the "Copy process planning" button, you can copy an existing plan to a specific year. In this case, the various dates recorded in the process administration are modified to reflect the year entered.
The overview can be filtered by active administrations and "last" administrations, where an active administration has a state that is not "Closed" and a "Latest" is the last version of a process administration, regardless of status.
A process administration has a status. The statuses listed below are possible.
| Status | Description |
| Concept | The status concept indicates that the administration is still being changed and is not yet updated. Changes can be made without creating a copy of the administration. |
| Active | When an administration is active, it can be modified, but the changes are saved in a version. It also maintains track of who made changes and when. The changed version will be the final one used. |
| Closed | When an administration is closed, it is no longer modifiable. |
When a process administration has the status "Draft" or "Active" and the year to which it relates is in the past, the administration is highlighted in red.
The "New" button creates a new administration. The 'Copy process planning' button allows you to copy a process plan to any year. Copying a plan to the next year allows you to easily construct a process planning for the coming year, as well as extend a process planning.
