Overview authorisation roles
Menu > Settings > Authorisation > User role > Overview authorisation roles

This overview shows all authorisation roles that can be linked to users. With an authorisation role you indicate which elements the user may open, add, modify or delete and possibly on the basis of which this may happen. A user must have at least one authorisation role. In general this is the role "Default". This role ensures that the user is at least allowed to see his own data and change his own password.

When the logged-in user has the right to create new roles a 'Copy Role' button becomes visible. When this button is visible it becomes active when one or more roles are checked. By clicking on this button the roles will only be copied when the logged-in user also has the right to change the selected role. The new role will get the name of the old role completed with '_copy'.
