This overview shows all substances included in the optiates list. The Opium Act prohibits the possession of certain substances listed on list l and ll of the Opium Act. Their manufacture, preparation, processing, sale, delivery, dispensing and transport are also prohibited.

In the substances screen, on the “Lists” tab, the “Opiates Opium Act” field indicates whether the substance belongs to the group of opiates and, if so, to which group. List 1 contains the hard drugs. On list 2 the soft drugs.

When a new list is available, it will be announced via the ITIS newsletter, after which you can retrieve and process the new list via the “Retrieve list of opiates” function.
