This overview shows all substances included in the list of F-Gases. F-Gases (fluorinated greenhouse gases) are synthetic refrigerants with a high global warming effect. They are used in air conditioning systems, cooling machines and heat pumps, among others. Their use should be avoided as much as possible. Sector by sector, Europe wants to eliminate the use of synthetic refrigerants.

 

In the substances screen, the “Lists” tab indicates whether the substance belongs to this group.

When a new list is available it will be announced via the ITIS newsletter, after which you can retrieve and process the new list via the 'F-Gas list' function.
