This screen can be used to describe the layout of a scanner file. A definition consists of a general part and a description of the possible lines in the file.

In the general section you indicate the type of file to be read. You can choose between a character separated, XML or Excel file. If you choose a character separated file, you must indicate which separator is used in the file (comma, semicolon or a tab). If you choose an Excel file, you must indicate the name of the worksheet that contains the data. Furthermore, you can specify what the decimal separator is, whether the first line should be skipped (because it is a header) or whether any double quotes around the values (") should be removed.
