SOFOS 360
Permission on content (fields)
Menu > Settings > Authorisation > User role > Permission on content (fields)

Using the field authorisation, you can specify for each field what the rights are under a certain condition for the chosen Entity. For example the following authorisation line: "The user may only change the field "password" and the check mark "Change password when logging in" with his own data. The other users' data may not be read by this user".

To do this, select the fields you want to allow in the "Components" field. The field 'Oid' (Object ID) is the technical name for the unique key with which each entity within SOFOS 360® can be accessed. In general, this field only needs to be included in the authorisation in exceptional cases (see Change criteria for an example).

As described earlier, you can also indicate under which condition the fields may be read or changed. You can specify the condition in the field "Criteria". By clicking on the pencil you can indicate the condition. See Change criteria for a further description.

By checking the box "Read" and/or "Write", you indicate what the user is allowed to do with the given fields if the described condition is met. If you do not set a check mark, the rights of the Type of Permissions are inherited. Keep in mind that the rights described in the Type authorization have a higher priority than the rights described in the Field authorization. If you want to enter Field or Object authorisation, it is necessary that the corresponding check marks in the Type of Permissions are no longer ticked.
