Within a permit application, a number of roles have to be filled in. The most important of these is the Biosafety Officer (BSO). The BSO is responsible for all aspects of working safely with GMOs. See also this description on the website of the RIVM regarding the BSO. In addition to the BSO, there are a number of other roles that are important for working safely with GMOs. These are

• Environmental safety expert
• Responsible employee
• Production employee

With the help of this screen you can indicate which employees are linked to the project and which role this employee has within the project. At least one BFV is required.

In addition to the four existing roles, you can also add your own roles via Settings - Biological agents - License role.You can also choose these roles to be added as a role for the linked employee.
