Using this screen you can call up several existing reports or create a new report.
At the top of the screen you will find the toolbar that allows you to perform the following actions respectively:

- New. Allows you to create a new report.
- Delete. Allows you to delete reports you have created yourself. Reports supplied with SOFOS360 cannot be deleted. The button will then be gray.
- Modify. Allows you to modify the data of a report.
- Refresh. It is possible that you want to refresh the data on the screen, for example because your colleague has just adjusted something while you are not yet seeing it. After pressing this button, the change will be visible to you.
- Restore screen. You can customize the screen to your own preference (personalize). Once you have done this, you can use this button to reset the screen to the default settings.
- Copy. With this button you can copy a report. This is possible for your own reports as well as the reports provided by ITIS. Keep in mind that some parts of a copy of a report provided by ITIS will not work correctly. This has a technical background.
- To Pdf. You can choose to have a report generated directly to Pdf instead of the standard report example. By selecting one or more reports this button will become active. When you click on the button the field 'Export directly to PDF' will be switched on or off.
- Help. Proceeds to the help screen.
- Export. Here you can export all data in the grid to other formats such as Excel, Word and PDF.
Please note that you cannot select which records are to be exported. All records in the overview will be exported to the format of your choice. For example, if you see at the bottom that there are 4 pages with 20 records each, then all 80 records will be exported.
- Modify definition. This button starts the 'Report Editor' and allows you to customize the definition of a report. An English manual of this 'Rapporteditor' can be found via the following hyperlink English manual of the report editor.
- Search text
If you want to find something quickly, you can enter it here. It will then search through all available columns to see if the system can find data containing the entered text. The search text may also be in the middle of a word or number.
Within SOFOS360 there are two types of reports: contextual and non-contextual reports. With a contextual report you first have to select a number of elements before the report can be executed. An example of such a contextual report is the Workplace Instruction Map which can be found in the substance overview screen and the substance change screen. To be able to print a Workplace Instruction Card you will first need to select one or more substances after which the report can be executed. However, the Workstation Instruction Card can also be found in the overview of the substance reports (Menu item: Reporting - Substance). However, it is not possible to select a substance and therefore the report cannot be started. In the overview the report is therefore shown in grey and cannot be executed there.
On the screen of a self defined report you can indicate whether or not the report is contextual. Apart from that you can also indicate that a report can only be started as a contextual report. As a result the report will be shown grayed out in the overview, can no longer be started as a stand-alone report and will only be available as contextual report. This prevents you from starting the report and accidentally create labels for all available substances or pots for example.
