This function is available from the menu via "Go to - Import substance data".
After choosing the "Import substance data" action, the "Import substance" screen appears. This screen shows all the databases for which a license has been concluded. In addition, it displays how many substances the license has been concluded for, how many substances have already been purchased for the database in question and how many substances can therefore still be transferred. If a database is not visible, then no license has been bought or the license has expired. If the checkbox for a database cannot be selected, then the maximum number of substances to be taken has been reached or exceeded.
Import substance data:
- Enter a name or CAS number of the substance to be imported in the "Name or CAS number" field. The search term must be at least three characters long.
- Select the available databases and click on the "Search substances" button. The search process is started.
- SOFOS360 now connects to the selected databases and searches for the substance. This can take some time.
- The found substances are displayed in the “Found substances” overview.
- If a substance has already been collected, it will be shown in green in the overview.
- If a BIG, AZH or DGZ substance has already been collected from another database (BIG, AZH or DGZ), it is shown in blue.
- After selecting one or more substances, you can use the "Take over substance data" button to collect the substance data from the corresponding database.
- When a substance is collected, it will be displayed in green on the screen. If several substances are selected, they will only be displayed in green after the last processed substance..
- On the "Substance" overview screen, a field can be made visible via the button Meer opties with which you can call up a list of all substances that you have just imported.
- If you click on one of the substances in this list, you will see the mutation screen of the substance in question. This list will be emptied again when you logout from SOFOS360.
