Via the button "Copy to SOFOS substance", one substance (of any origin) can be copied. This implies that:

• All substance data from the source material will be included in the new substance.
• All other data including links to departments, rooms, documents, articles, pots etc. are not included in the new material.

The new substance has 'SOFOS' as its source and can be mutated in the future. The source material remains unchanged. The new substance will no longer be automatically updated, which could be the the case with the source substance (if its a DBD-substance).
