This screen enables you to examine and edit a pot. To create a pot, type "Overview Articles", or "Article " to trigger the "Received article" action. Normally, all mutations on pots are carried out through the numerous actions that are available on a pot. The "mutate pot" screen is only intended to correct errors caused by an action on the pot. If you wish to manually perform a transaction on a pot, you should explain it in the "Motivation" field.

A pot has a history. Every mutation, whether manual or by process, is documented in two historical pots. One with data prior to the mutation and one with data post-mutation. When you save a modified pot, it updates the history.

A pot has a status that indicates 'where' it is in the "production process". In contrast to GROS, no pots are created with the "ordered" status. An order differs from a pot. Pots are only made if an order is recorded as received. The ordering process is a part of the module "Order".

When a pot's expiration date has passed, the date is marked in red.

A pot can be linked to an employee, space, project, or cost center.

A pot can be regarded as a "bulk pot" or a single pot. Such a bulk pot is made up of multiple equal sub-pots that come together to form the pot (which is actually a package, but for clarity's sake, it has also been called "a pot"). One can use the 'Unpack/repack' function to unpack a bulk pot into individual pots.

If the current pot contains an article that is also associated with a substance, you can use the 'Show report' button to display an SDS or WIK for that substance.

A pot is always positioned in a particular room. If there is a PGS15 issue in that room, the 'PGS15 reports' button will become active. Clicking on this button will display the current space analysis report. However, the button's activation does not depend on the logged-in user's authorized roles. Instead, the report is displayed based on the current roles. As a result, the button may be activated even if the retrieved report indicates no problems. When a user without full permission calls up the report, this limitation will be clearly stated. Furthermore, the report might be incomplete due to the user's lack of specific rights.

A maximum stock for a given substance can be attached to a space. If in the space containing the pot one of the maximum stocks is exceeded by the actual stock then the name of the space in the pot is shown in red.
